Lernerville Speedway Starts 40th Anniversary Celebration with the Release of Action Packed 2007 Schedule

Plans are complete to continue Lernerville Speedway as one of the most popular dirt racing facilities in the country with the recent release of the 2007 Race Schedule. Lernerville will continue to be the only track in the country running the top three headline classes: Sprints, Late Models, V-8 Modifieds on a weekly basis. These three classes join the popular Pure Stocks as the track will present twenty (20) “Fab Four” Friday night races with opening night scheduled for March 30th at 7:30 sharp.
The excitement each year builds as the track continues it’s tradition of being western PA’s only venue to host the World of Outlaws Sprints on Tuesday, May 15th for the “First Commomwealth Bank Clash. The WoO sprints follow that up with the Tuesday, July 17th running of the “Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XV” $30,000 to win event. The popular OTC 360 World of Outlaws Late Models roll into town for the “Showdown in Sarvertown” on Tuesday, April 17th and fans across the country are talking and placing their reserved seat ticket orders for the Inaugural 2-day Firecracker 100 extravaganza on Friday & Saturday, June 29th & 30th paying $30,000 to win.
The All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints will invade on Tuesday, June 5th. MACS Late Models will be teamed with the Sonia Bullis Sprint Memorial August 31st, Friday night of the Labor Day weekend.
Through the efforts of Advance Auto Parts the Autumn-Motive Fest Pure Stock Pandemonium will grow into a 2-day effort on Friday & Saturday, September 14th & 15th.
The UMP Modifieds will run four races with the dates being April 17th, May 15th, June 5th and September 14 & 15th.
Lernerville will bring back the Enduro Racing with a 100 lapper on September 14th and hold its first Compact Car Demo on July 20th. Kids Night with School Bus and Bicycle Races are planned for June 12th and September 8th.
A total of 32 exciting events are schedule for the up coming racing season. There will be plenty of action and variety for the avid race fan. Tickets are being reserved for all shows at this time by calling the speedway office (724) 353-1511 M-F 9 to 4 pm. Also available our Pic 5 and Pic 10 ticket packs as well as the Pit Season Passes.
Lernerville Speedway will host their 39th Awards Banquet at the Days Inn Rt. 8 Butler, PA on Saturday, March 3, 2007. Plan to attend the Clearview Mall Race Car show on Rt. 8 in Butler, PA during the week of March 15, 16, & 17th.
Commercial Truck & Trailer of Girard, Ohio continues their division sponsorship of the sprint class for 2007. Orren Zook’s passion for sprint car racing is a plus for the track as he continues to promote the sport he loves. Friedman’s Supermarkets will title the Late Model division for the 10th year. Friedman’s have been your home town grocers since 1900 and if you’re planning a party or need custom catering give them a call at (724) 283-6030. Anthony Ferrante of Ferrante Motor Cars headlines the V-8 Modified class for the 14th season. Ferrante Motors has a complete service department with inspections, emissions testing and auto shop. They have a dealership for the new Smart Cars, Americanized by ZAP and a “Rocket Shop” for restoration of older cars. Advance Auto Parts, Chris Clegg and their 35,000 Team Members will garner the title name of the Pure Stock class for the third consecutive year.
