Carl Bowser has been working very hard this off-season preparing histeam's Sprint Cars for the '09 racing season. And now it turns outthat Carl's off-season is going to be much shorter than the past few.
Carl has a great opportunity ahead of him. He will be racing inAustralia for Tasmania's Peter and Tim Austin. Carl's 'Down Under'tour starts January 14th and runs through March 11th and will consistof racing in some of Tasmania's biggest Sprint Car races of the year.
"I'm very excited to get a chance to race for Peter and Tim; I'm alsovery anxious to get down there and climb back into a car," statedBowser.
He will be joined by his father Terry for the last two weeks of thetrip. Terry will see Carl run his final four races of the trip.
The two month trip will be an exciting experience for the young raceras he hopes to turn it into a yearly adventure, and an excellentjumpstart to his 2009 racing season in the States.
