As the 2009 season winds down, teams will be making changes in an effort to improve their level of success for the coming season. Personnel changes are a part of the sprint car game, and the 30c team and crew chief Kirk Dewease have decided that a change was necessary. The split between the two is an amicable one with both sides mutually agreeing to go their separate ways.
The change opens up opportunities for both parties. Kirk Dewease is an established talent behind the wrench, and is pursuing options that could allow him to work for another top race team. The 30c team is a contender at any event, and will be looking to fill the void left by Kirk’s departure.
