WCS Officials finalize 2012 schedule

Orrville, Ohio (February 26, 2012) With racing season nearly six weeks
away WCS officials have recently finalized and posted their 2012 racing
season schedule. “We had the schedule 90 percent done but we added a few
things that we think the fans and racers will like” stated General
Manger Jason Flory.

The highlights include our first World of Outlaw Late Model race in
several years on May 25th. A fan favorite and staple of Wayne County
Speedway for decades All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Speedweek date
that returns on Monday, June 25th. The first annual Summer Sizzler
which features 410 Sprints racing for $2500, Super Late Models racing
for $1500 and 305 running for $800; the next night if the 410 Sprint
winner wins at Fremont Speedway they will collect a additional $2000
bonus is scheduled for August 10th. Making a return appearance to WCS is
the B.O.S.S. wingless sprints who make two stops at WCS for 2012.
Making their inaugural appearance is the newly formed Renegade Modified
tour who also makes two stops at WCS this season.

“We feel our schedule is a nice blend of special events with our great
weekly program that gives something back to all our fans” said Flory. “I
think everyone will like our fan specials like our mother/father day
specials, car load night, Police and CDL specials”. Those special
nights’ fans with the proper identification will be admitted to the
races for half price.

. Wayne County Speedway opens its doors on April 14th for open
practice and opening day is scheduled for Friday April 20th.
