Saturday January 6th, 2007 Michael Carber and the P& P Motorsports team loaded up and went to BIS for night 3 of USA Sprintcars at Brisbane International Speedway. Carber along with his fellow American's sought out to beat the local Australian's once again. The American's finished in the top 10 again on night three. Once again they raced a pair of heats. Michael started 8th in his first heat and finished 4th. Michael progressed through his heat race struggling a little due to his car being too tight. Michael started and finished third in his second and final qualifying event. As a result of Michael's combined finishes in his heat races he was not eligible for the dash that his fellow American Brent Kaeding won. Carber lined up 11th along side of local Australian Tony Wynne for the A-Main. Michael had to start deep in the field due to a rough night in his qualifying events. Michael was able to compete clos ely wi th his fellow American's finishing 3rd in the feature event. Jonathan Allard, Cameron Gessner, Michael Carber, Andrew Scheuerle, an Ben Wright rounded out the top five for the A-Main. Michael and the team had a tough night struggling to loosen their car, but finally go the car good for the feature and ended the night with another top five finish. Carber has failed to finish outside the top five since he's been at BIS which makes him a good contender for the World Series event they will be competing in later this week.
