LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY MOURNS DEATHS IN RACING FAMILY


(Sarver, PA) Lernerville Speedway sadly expresses condolences to the family andfriends of two members of our extended racing family. Amelia Miller and G.Robert "Clutch" Kennedy both passed away Wednesday February 7th.Amelia Miller was the mother of long-time Lernerville Speedway PR Director andcurrent Activities Coordinator Carol Gamble. Amelia will be sadly missed andLernerville Speedway wishes to express out sincerest condolences to CarolGamble and her entire family. There will not be a public viewing. Robert "Clutch" Kennedy is the father of Robyn Lambert (wife of reigning PureStock Champion Butch Lambert) and uncle of Late Model Driver Chuck Kennedy. Mr.Kennedyraced late models and coupes at dirt tracks from 1965 to the 1980s.He won point championships at the Butler Speedway and the North Hills Speedwayin 1972. He was a lifetime member of the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club and wasinducted into the Pittsburgh Circle Track Hall of Fame in 2001. His nickname?Clutch? was given to him by one of his crew members on a Friday night atLernerville when he lost the clutch out of his car while racing.
