Doug Esh to the Trone Motorsports #39 in 2009

John Trone, Trone Outdoor Advertising and Trone Motorsports are excited to
announce that Doug Esh will drive the #39 Trone Special for the 2009 racing
season. At the conclusion of a challenging year it was clear that John
wanted to build a stronger team with a more hands on approach. "With the
commitment needed to run a successful sprint team in Central PA, you need to
keep your operation close to home. Secondly, you need surround yourself
with people who share the same goals", states John. Those goals consist of
winning races and having fun. Trone Motorsports will be joined by Leach
Brothers Motorsports and the entire team. The team will continue to be led
by Dennis Kohler, with maintenance handled by mechanics Barry Jacobs, Chris
Barnes, Ryan Grady, Jay Picking, Jim Smart and Andy Bream. Dick, Leslie and
Tom Leach, from Leach Brothers Motorsports will contribute their resources
to building a strong team as they back away from 14 years of car ownership.
If anyone has spend time with Doug and the Leach Team it is clear that these
guys are serious about winning without losing perspective of why we race -
to have fun. Trone Motorsports is currently working on securing its
sponsorship for the 2009 season, which will include support from Kinard
Trucking. At the same time a new shop is being built to prepare a fleet of
cars in time to race in Florida next year.
