KEITH KAUFFMAN JOINS HEFFNER RACING ENTERPRISES

First Race Saturday and throughout SpeedWeek

Hellertown, PA (June 16, 2009)…Legendary 410 sprint car driver, KeithKauffman, "The Man from Mifflintown", will join Heffner RacingEnterprises for SpeedWeek and other select races, filling in for theteam's lead driver, Sean Michael, while he recovers from knee surgery. Kauffman's first race for the team will be at Port Royal thisSaturday, June 20, when he will step into the Lelands.com-sponsoredsprint car for the first time.

Heffner Racing Enterprises owner MikeHeffner expressed excitement about the addition of Kauffman to hisalready impressive roster of drivers. “Working with renowned drivers like Sean Michael, Curt Michael and nowKeith Kauffman in our first full season as a team is an honor. Youcannot get more experience or more professionalism than these guys.”

Racing since 1970, Kauffman has driven Sprints, Late Models, ChampCars and Go-Karts and calls his collective 304 career wins hisgreatest accomplishment. Inducted into the Sprint Car Racing Hall ofFame in 2004, Kauffman has won Pennsylvania, WesternPennsylvania andOhio SpeedWeeks, as well as 18 different track championships, andracedfor owners including Bob Weikert, Roy Morral, Al Hamilton, and WarrenJohnson. “I am looking forward to this opportunity to race and have fun withHeffner Racing Enterprises and would also like to wish Sean Michael aspeedy recovery,” said Kauffman.

Kauffman’s racing has taken him to wins in twelve different states andAustralia. He currently resides in Mifflintown with his wife, Kathyand has two children, Becky and Chase.
