“WINGED NATION” SET FOR JANUARY 31 RETURN
New Start Time for Popular Show

CONCORD, N.C. – “Winged Nation”, the popular 60-minute weekly broadcast covering winged sprint car racing, returns for a second season on January 31st to www.MotorRacingNetwork.com . The show, hosted by Kendra Jacobs and Steve Post, has a new timeslot starting weekly at noon Eastern on the website.

“We had an amazing first year and are so excited to build upon that this year,” said Post. “The thing that’s exciting for us is that we covered big national stories last year as well as some great local racers in the various regions where sprint car racing reigns.”

“Winged Nation” covers winged sprint car racing from Pennsylvania to California as well as the great touring groups barnstorming the country. If it’s happening in winged sprint car racing, “Winged Nation” will cover it.

“This time of year is always so exciting,” continue Post. “Drivers have been racing in Australia and the Chili Bowl has wrapped up, that means it time for outdoor season to begin here in North America. I know race fans are ready for it to all start and so are we.”

Jacobs is the daughter of sprint car legend Kenny Jacobs and a former Miss Knoxville Nationals. Post is a broadcaster with MRN Radio and passionate dirt track racing fan.

WCS Officials announce two All Star Sprint Speedweek dates; Add All Star Sprints to September 2nd date

Orrville,
Ohio (January 23, 2012) Wayne County Speedway officials have been working
diligently this off season in preparation for the 2012 racing season. As the
2012 season approaches the final touches are being put on the schedule with
several sanction races dotting the schedule. General Manger Jason Flory
recently finalized two All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Speedweek dates the
first being on Saturday June 23rd and coming back on Monday June 25th.
“We are happy to announce our All Star Sprint Speedweek dates. After getting
started late last year and not
having a Speedweek race it is good to be able to give this to our fans” stated
Flory. “The All Stars do a great job and to bring in those racers, staff and
officials;
our fans will be treated to two great shows.” Other divisions racing on Saturday
the 23rd is yet to be determined. Racing with the Sprints on Monday
June 25th will be Super Late Models.

The All Star
Circuit of Champion Sprints will be returning Sunday September 2nd for our Labor Day
weekend sprint special. The 2012 season schedule is nearly complete
and ready to publish. “We have made a few additions to our schedule; things our
fans have asked for and we stepped up to the plate and delivered.
