LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY TO BEGIN POINTS AND HONOR HEROES

By Eric J. Westendorf

(Sarver, PA) With a non-points season opener and a 360 OTC World of Outlaws Late Model race in the books, Lernerville Speedway is ready to start its regular season with the first Budweiser Point Standings race of the 2007 season for all Fab Four Divisions. The Commercial Truck & Trailer Sprints, Friedman’s Supermarkets Late Models, Ferrante Motor Cars Modifieds, and Advance Auto Parts Pure Stocks are finally ready to get down to business this Friday Night April 20. Local Meteorologists promise clear skies and warm temperatures throughout the evening.

In addition to the Fab Four event, Lernerville Speedway will be honoring local heroes during the Volunteer Fire, EMS, and Police Appreciation Night. Members of these service companies will be honored throughout the evening, and enjoy half-price general admission with proper ID at the will call window. Local companies will have service vehicles and equipment on display outside the general admission gates.

Coming soon to the Action Track is another World of Outlaws invasion. This time the Original Outlaws, the 410 Sprint Bandits headlined by 20-Time World of Outlaws Champion “The King” Steve Kinser, Reigning World of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz, and current World of Outlaws points leader Joey Saldana in a car owned by NASCAR star Kasey Kahne, and a strong field of Outlaw regulars will roll into town on May 15 for the First Commonwealth Bank Clash. The $10,000 to win, 40 lap shootout will be supported by the second of five UMP Modifieds races. Advance purchases of Reserved Seat tickets for the May 15 show are now on sale, as are tickets for the 2-Day Firecracker 100 featuring the return of the 360 OTC World of Outlaws Late Models on June 29 & 30. Log on to www.lernerville.com for more details or call the track office at (724) 353-1511 to reserve your seats now!
