Mike Kekich and the 5K Ready for 2006

Mike Kekich will once again field his 5K 410 Sprint Car in 2006, running hisJ&J Auto Racing Chassis powered by Kriner's Racing Engines. The team willcompete for the points championship at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, aswell as select events in the surrounding area. All the pieces are in placeto make a serious charge for Kekich's second championship in 2006.
Kekich piloted the 5K to the 2002 track championship, and has had a 3rd and two 2ndplace points finals in the years since.

Kekich credits his sponsors and team for his consistent performance. "Wehave only had one DNF in the last 5 years because of the tremendous supportwe receive, and the hard work of my crew", Mike commented. The team takescar maintenance very seriously, and in fact is in the process of finalizinga technical article on maintenance, filters, and lubricants in associationwith K&N Filters, Royal Purple Oil, Kriner's Racing Engines, and InsightServices. Kekich Racing will also field the 5K Kart driven by Adam Kekich primarily atSlippery Rock Speedway. Adam will enter his 5th year of racing with aspirations of one day wheeling a sprint car like his father, grandfather,and uncles. 2006 may also find the 5k Kart running their all-new HoosierKarting Tires on some asphalt.Tight Seal Glass Block of Girard, Ohio (www.tight-seal.com) returns to Kekich Racing in 2006 as the teams' primary sponsor, along with associatesponsors L&M Tire, Agway of Hermitage, and Buckeye Hone.
